Yamataka JIndai Sakura is claimed to be a 2000-year-old prunus pendula.


１９２２（大正１１）年に桜としては初めて国指定の天然記念物に指定されました。
This cherry tree was designated as the first cherry tree to be announced as a natural monument by the Japanese Government in 1922.
